When I was about 20-21 years old, I got some new friends who traveled to Indonesia for an internship. Starting from being a “tour guide,” the friendship sort of expanded and lasts in its own way. Five years later most of them are currently working around Southeast Asia (Singapore & Indonesia), one is back in the Netherlands, and another one has just got married.

It’s funny to see how time flies, how much we have grown, how much things have changed over the past five years, and how different our lives are, well, not drastically but of course you grew into something more and experienced so many new things. We’re not super close or anything, we don’t communicate on daily basis, but it’s good to know that they are still around after all 🙂
