As I always say, I have a thing for parks. When I was in France, I asked Christophe, my friend who also hosted me during my stay where was the nearest park in his neighborhood. He lives in Le Perreux-Sur Marne, a commune in the Val-de-Marne department in eastern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 11.7 km from Paris. I love this commune, it’s small and serene and around Christophe’s neighborhood they also have a river, lovely bridge, and during weekend people are usually kayaking.
Anyway, I asked Christophe which park did he usually go to, and he said this park below. It doesn’t really have a name, but it’s really really wide and a bit jungle-ish. I saw people cycle, jog, and walk their dogs in this park. So lovely! Wish we have one here, including the weather. Well, it was still pretty chilly for my Indonesian body temperature, but the view is to die for. I can imagine being there for hours with my book and some music, or walk my dog. Damn. If one day you’ll randomly be around Le Perreux-Sur Marne, have some time off in this park.
