WHEN IN BALI: Amazing Time at Piasan Restaurant, Nusa Dua!

Hi there my beloved readers!

So over the coming months I will be sharing some information of nice places I had visited in Bali. This post will be the start. As I have stated on this post, last September I got the opportunity to review some awesome places with MakanLuar and two blogger friends, Ian from JKTGO & BALIGO and Indita from Tasteritos. I’m gonna start with this restaurant that caught my attention for being too gorgeous! What’s making it gorgeous? Surprise, surprise: bamboos. But you’re gonna learn that they are more than just a pretty exterior, because the food is equally magnificent!

So let me welcome you to…

Gorgeous, isn’t it? And they have this grand entrance which I really like. I felt like I was in a sequence of Indiana Jones movie when I walked into this “tunnel.” Hihi.

This place is even more gorgeous at night!

Now let’s park the talk about the exterior and go to the real deal: THE FOOD. So Piasan has two areas to dine in. One is named Tetaring for brekkie and lunch and so on, and the other one is THE Piasan, a fine dining section which is available for Lunch and Dinner. If you wish to have an intimate party with your darlings, or just a romantic dinner with your beau, then I would suggest you to sit here (if possible, near the edge of the pond by night!) and indulge yourself with a full course of modern Italian cuisine cooked by Executive Chef Denny and his team. SO SO GOOD.

??????????

Executive Chef Denny – Has more than 20 years of culinary experience with previous experiences at Amanwana resort, Kayumanis Ubud (specializing in Thai Cuisine) and now Kayumanis Nusa Dua (fine dining Italian cuisine)

These were the dishes Ian and I tried last September, I will mark my favorites. What made the dining experience special was the non-monotonous flavors we tasted. Every meal was a surprise, we tasted something different meal to meal, and that is a good thing! I don’t know if they make this menu regular or they customize it for us for the occasion, but if you pay a visit in the future, just ask them! My favorites are not to be missed :p

So that was the summary of the wonderful set of food we had. I would like to thank Chef Denny and Mbak Ami for their warmest welcome and the magnificent lunch. Guys, if you’re planning to go to Bali, don’t forget to pay a visit to this beautiful restaurant. You can make your reservation online via: www.makanluar.com (very practical restaurant bookings!), taste the food yourself and enjoy the place, seriously.

PS. Kayumanis Nusa Dua Private Villa & Spa has about 20 rooms (if I remember correctly) and is one of the main destinations for honeymooners who travel to Nusa Dua, Bali. It’s a peace and quite area, as you might know. Might be a good idea for you bride and groom to be, eh? And their Piasan restaurant is often used as a pre-wed photo spot and wedding party venue too, so there, I’m giving you another idea, hehehe….
