For those of you who didn’t know, Alanis Morissette and Ryan Reynolds used to be dating back in 2002, got engaged in 2004, but decided to end their engagement in 2007, after 4,5 years of being together. Alanis said her album “Flavors of Entanglement” (2008) was created out of her grief after the breakup with one particular song written for Ryan, “Torch.”
