MUSIC I LOVE: “See You Again” from Furious 7

I am a fan of Fast & Furious franchise not only because of the very entertaining and thrilling racing scenes (though some or most might be over the top), but because I really admire all the casts. As you have seen, they have turned from professional actors into this one big family and you can really see the chemistry. It’s like working with your real family. I always have this silly wish that one day I want to be involved in a great production (for whatever work it is) that consists of number of great people, we do a great work, and bonded and turned into family, sorta. You know, if you see these casts, or Glee’s, or Jane the Virgin’s, etc, you see a solid group. And I always love seeing that, I don’t know why. That’s why I was beyond heartbroken when Cory Monteith died of drug overdose, and when Paul Walker passed away in a tragic car accident. Those are the kind of deaths that do not allow a proper goodbye, no process whatsoever, they’re just gone. My favorite TV and movie family will never be the same. So sad. (This applies to Zayn leaving One Direction too although no death is involved *knock on wood*. My favorite boyband will never be the same. Grrr…)

Anyway, those who have watched “Furious 7” and love the Fast family as much as I do must have seen this heartbreaking yet beautiful ending, complemented with such a perfect song (although Paul’s CGI looked a bit creepy for a few seconds in). I was really sad when I saw the scene, especially after hearing what Dom said in the end, and when Dom, Letty, Roman, and Tej gazed at Brian from afar at the beach. T________T

Therefore I present you, the song that you might have been hearing for a couple of weeks everywhere and still makes you (and me) feel sad, a beautiful colab between Charlie Puth and Wiz Khalifa, “See You Again.”

For Paul.
