BALI: My Serene Getaway at the Exquisite Conrad Hotel

For as long as I have known Bali, Tanjung Benoa area is always the place for tourists to do water sports and that’s it. But on a recent visit to this Island of Gods, I found myself LOVING being in the hood (PS: I’m not really into water sports), you know why? Because I have just had such a serene 2-day stay at this hotel whose every corner seemingly screams GORGEOUS! You will learn that what I am saying is true as you read this blog post through.

A very “welcoming” main pool 😀

I arrived on a late Monday afternoon with a high urge to sleep because I was quite tired from the day and the morning before. But I held that thought for a bit as I entered my room. I just have snapped pictures right away and show you! Lookie, lookie!

Never an empty stomach

I would have to say, my dining experience was also superb. If you see a gorgeous place, you would at least expect that the quality and the taste of the food would be just as great. Thankfully I had the pleasure to eat at some of their restaurants they have during my stay so I can recommend you some menu I consider my favorite.

First off, your breakfast would take place at SUKU, the one under the main lobby if I remember correctly. I always ALWAYS love hotel’s breakfast (I love everything served in buffet, hehe!) and to my standard the food here are really good. Plus, you can sit outside and have a pool view while finishing your omelette, thinking of what to grab next.

For lunch or dinner, aside from SUKU, you also can go to Eight Degrees South (which is beachfront), Azure (this one I didn’t try), and RIN, specializing in Japanese cuisine and is located at the private area near the private pools.

At Eight Degrees South -which I think is a combination of both international and local cuisine- these are the menu I tried and the one below is my most favorite:

This is 8’s Garden Salad (IDR 130k): Mixed Lettuce, Baby Romaine, Cucumber, Bacon, Poached Egg, Avocado, Scallop, and Balsamic Dressing

I can’t get enough of this Lemon Meringue. It is so delicious! Definitely a must try for me 😀

RIN – Japanese Food Indulgence

If you’re into Japanese food, then you should definitely dine in this restaurant. I had a very good meal here and the food was really fresh. In Bahasa Indonesia I would say “ENAK BANGET!” or “Oishi” in Japs, hehehe… These were what I had…

The premise

As this hotel area is HUGE, I of course took the liberty to explore the entire place day and night. The surrounding view was just magnificent methinks. You know I love snapping pictures so I love photogenic place 😀 Come check it out yourself!

And as if those weren’t enough, you have to see their BEAUTIFUL WHITE CHAPEL! For those of you who plan to get married in Bali, or maybe need some inspirations on where to take your pre-wedding photos, I would suggest you contact Conrad for this. The narcissistic soul in me cannot resist to take a few photos here, hahaha…

Wouldn’t you wanna get married here?!

Overall, I had a really serene 2-day stay at Conrad. I swam everyday, walked around (I really love walking), ate extremely good food, chillin’ on my bathub (love this), and even worked out at the gym! Self-pampering at its best 😀

An exercise must not be forgotten even during holiday~~~

Overall I really have to thank Imuthia and Novi from Conrad Bali for ensuring that I had the real Conrad experience during my stay. Thank you very much for the warmth, hospitality, and the fast-response service which my made my stay really lovely. I would definitely recommend Conrad for your honeymoon, family getaway, or just for your holiday with friends, really. I didn’t bother to go out of the hotel at all during my stay, I love caving in. I was afraid I would miss all the good stuff at the hotel had hahaha… And you know the best part is? Let’s say you have already checked out but you still want to hang around the hotel, they actually allocate a room for that. You can store your luggage, sit around, even shower in this area!

Makes me don’t wanna go home! By the way, this room is adjacent to the gym 😀

Hopefully I can come here again and you guys all can have the same (or even better) experience at Conrad Bali. Once again, thank you, Conrad! :*
